We’re thrilled to announce that Café has been selected to participate in Slack’s Future of Work Innovation Program.
Announced in the summer of 2022, the latest Future of Work program launched by Slack - in collaboration with Station F, the largest start-up campus in the world - received applications from the most innovative Future of Work startups in France.
After several weeks of interviews and product demonstrations conducted by various advisors, investors and future of work leaders - including Station F’s managing director Roxanne Varza - Slack has chosen Café and 6 other companies among the 300 applications received for this program. Thus, it's with the most advanced company in the world in terms of Culture, Workplace and Future of Work - Slack, that Café will now be designed.
The new Slack incubator is designed to help French startups in the Future of Work industry to unlock growth and scale their companies. As the world of work continues to evolve post-pandemic, the program aims to support entrepreneurs building businesses addressing: work life, corporate culture, internal and external communications, work automation, recruitment & integration of talent, management, and talent retention.
By initiating this program, Slack and Station F aim to create a French ecosystem of startups that could complement Slack's value proposition and drive innovation in the Future of Work.
For several years now, Slack has been a pioneer in addressing work experience challenges, and a leader in the Future of Work movement. The company is responsible for many developments in the space - including how we communicate - and has been one of the first to publish its findings, especially through the Slack Future Forum.
Thus, Slack’s Future of Work program is part of a much more comprehensive and profound project launched by the company: the roadmap for the Future of Work, published in June 2021, and incorporating the company’s core values on work experience.
"Slack is a success story in the Future of Work ecosystem, they have transformed the way millions of people work today by becoming their digital HQ. So it's an honor to create a dedicated incubation program with them. The alliance between STATION F and Slack will allow startups to benefit from the best environment to succeed"
– Roxanne Varza, Director of STATION F.
Slack, the messaging app for business that connects people, tools and information together in a digital HQ, has called on French startups to join this new startup program in partnership with STATION F - the largest startup campus in the world.
"We are extremely proud to partner with STATION F, the world's largest startup campus, to launch our Future Of Work innovation program. The world of work has drastically changed, and our ambition is to create an ecosystem of start-ups that address - in addition to Slack's value proposition - the challenges of transforming the lives of employees. We will provide them with our tools and digital skills to accelerate their development and ultimately provide concrete answers to our customers' challenges"
– Gabriel Frasconi, General Manager of Slack France.
