Laure Saintpierre, Employee Experience Coordinator at Livestorm, spoke with us on the subject of workplace flexibility in times of change. She broke down how Livestorm organized team collaboration in the face of hyper-growth, scaling from 30 to 100 employees in the course of just a few months.

Improved flexibility for everyone
Livestorm is a remote-first workplace, meaning that each of our collaborators can choose their place of work and change as often as they want. Whether teammates want to work in our 🏢 Paris headquarters, in a 💼 co-working space, or in the comfort of 🏡 their homes, Livestorm's top priority is that they can do so in a healthy work environment.
Our new policy was created after Covid 19 quarantines rocked the world. Luckily for us, remote work was already in our DNA with many of our very first contributors joining us remotely 🌍

The struggle to coordinate
Shifting to a new way of work presented the Livestorm team with new challenges. They needed a way to coordinate that would be simple, easy, and visible to the whole team.
They chose Café for its flexibility and to help employees easily find themselves in or out of the office as team coordination has never been such an important subject as it is today.

Team cohesion is one of the most important topics during a transition to hybrid mode (remote / office) and this is why it is necessary to succeed in offering teams the possibility to be together in the same place and at the same time.
"My biggest goal is to keep the link between all of the teams. Even if we are operating remotely, we can still create special moments between Stormies with the help of tools like Café!" 🤝
